The Three Amigos and Medalist leagues are getting the Fall sign ups and flyers out to the bars. Get your teams signed up by September 13th to get started by October 3rd.
Chambers-music and NDA are getting ready for their Fall Dart leagues, too. sign ups/ flyers are out at the bars. Saturday August 29th, 2009 is going to be a Dart Tournament/Fall league sign up at the Lamplite Lounge in Ogden. Leagues are going to start probably the week after Labor Day Holiday. Come out and play the tournament and get your teams signed up for this Fall. The Fall league will be the only qualifing league for the NDA International Team Dart Tournament in Las Vegas in Spring of 2010.
I am also getting my In-House leagues filled and ready to start in September. Get your teams together and get back to me at Travishirabayashi@live.com
There is going to be a grand opener tournament on Friday,September 25th. Prizes are added, potluck, and I hope to see everyone there then. More information will follow, if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me via email.

Friday Night at Stockman's Bar
Hey everyone,
Wow, what a great time we had at Stockman's! We had 19 teams come to play. Thanks goes out to Michelle and Ruben Escobedo, Debbie Griffith representing The Three Amigos and bringing in pizzas to start the night, and Mike Rumsey, Sarah and Amber representing Stockman's Bar. You all show your appreciation to all of the dart players and I'm sure that I can speak for the players at the tournament that we appreciate your support, also. Thanks again.
It was great to see Bill McEntire, Kyle Cambell who are out from Laughlin and Mequite, Nevada. Congratulations to Bill who is getting married, my condolences to his fiance'...jk. Thanks for coming out. Good to see Brad Richardson, Pauline, Justin and Jessica Jones, Larry and Karen, Wendy P. and everyone else, of course, for playing and supporting this tournament.
Congratulations to Bill and Debbie 4th, Ken Holcomb and Brad Marsh 3rd, Brad Richardson and Wendy 2nd, and the winners Joe and Rachelle 1st. No winner for the Mystery Out, which was 66, and is carried over in a couple of weeks.
I am not holding the Friday Night Tournament due to the Medalist World Tournament in Las Vegas that weekend. Good luck to all the players from Utah going out to represent. I will start the tournament back up the following Friday in September.
Remember that there are two tournaments being held today at the Lamplite and the Ogden Eagles. Sign ups are around 7pm.

Friday Dart Tournament
Hi Darters,
Tomorrow the Friday Night Dart tournament is at Stockman's Bar. Sign up by 7:30 to play. Try and bring in your friends to play and have a great time. Next week, August 28th there will not be a tournament on Friday because of the World Medalist Tournament event in Las Vegas. So, I hope to see you this Friday.
We are also planning a season opener tournament near the end of September. This is going to be the event that will also kick off the Fall season for leagues. Start thinking of your team and day that you will want to play and get signed up. Thanks Joe Cristensen for your input and idea for adding a Mystery Out for the leagues. I just need to figure out how to incorporate that into leagues where there are make up games and pre games. I am sure that by the time the in house leagues begin we will have it figured out.
New players don't worry, these leagues will be handicapped. I am planning a beginner day expo on an upcoming Saturday where we can go over techniques, rules of the game, dart supplies, and play of the different games. There will be food and prizes, this will be a good opportunity to get acquainted and sign up for leagues.

Dart News and updates
Hi there,
We had a great time at Stockman's Bar last night. 16 teams came to play and we are drawing players from Logan and from Salt Lake City, as well as our local area, also a player that was out here on business from Indiana who will be returning frequently and playing in the tournaments (hurry back Joe). It is because of all you that we can keep this tournament a regular event! Thank you for participating and keeping it fun for everyone. The manager Mike Rumsey is just awesome for bringing in pizzas and treats the people of the tournament like gold. Thanks Mike, the owner, Mona and the bartenders you are definetely awesome for all that you do for us.
As I mentioned, we had 16 teams and congratulations goes to Tex and Heather 4th, Johnny and Ryan C. 3rd, Ian and Nikki 2nd, and the winners Joe C. and Amy 1st. Thanks Indiana Joe, Ian and Brandon for making it to the tournament.
We need to get teams for the fall league coming up. Start getting your teams together for Sundays. There will be other days open for Medalist leagues and a 30yr old and younger league league. Please email me at travishirabayashi@live.com. Let me know what you are interested in playing, if you need a partner don't worry we can find one. Get your teams in early so you don't miss out. In-house leagues are limited to 10 teams and will start in late September and will run about 10 weeks. Looking forward to hearing back from you....

Weekend Darts and news
Hi everyone,
We had fun on Friday with 10 teams. Congratulations to the winners Georgie/Dustin 1st, Joe/Angel 2nd and Travis/Debbie 3rd. Thanks again to Mike for bringing in pizzas.
Saturday we had a great showing for the benefit tournament for the Mackey family. Great time and many prizes awarded in the drawing. There were 21 teams at the Ogden Eagles and it was an awesome turn out. A little over $800 was raised and it was nice to see John Mackey, Sr. there to recieve the gift. Thanks goes out to the Austin family for all the hard work that they put into a fine tournament and the Ogden Eagles for hosting it and everyone that donated to the event.
Looking forward to this Friday for the Friday Night Tournament being held at Stockman's Bar, hope to see you there.

Friday Night Darts
We are going to be at Stockman's Bar in Layton this Friday for the weekly blind draw dart tournament. Tell your friends and dart buddies to come down and check it out. Be there prior to 7:30pm to sign up or call me. $6 entry, $5 for the tournament and $1 for the Mystery Out. It is sure to be a fun time, I hope you don't miss it. Those of you that get your comments in, sign up for a follower on the blog or mention that you read this weeks blog get a free set of flights or tips at the tournament this Friday.

Friday Night Dart Tournament news

It was a great turnout for a mid-summer night, there were 14 teams that participated. Thanks Ken and Kathy for bringing in Amanda and Kate, Ryan bringing in Ben who played the tournament for their first time, I hope they enjoyed playing. Brian and Cindy for making it out to the tournament, it has been awhile. Also, a BIIIIIGGG thanks goes to Mike Rumsey for bringing in food, again...you are awesome and we all appreciate what you do for us.
Congratulations to the winners, Ken and Ashley 4th, Johnny and Angel 3rd, Tex and Jenny 2nd and Dustin and Amy 1st. No winner for the Mystery Out, 61 was the number drawn.
Other tournaments are happening tonight in Ogden for anyone that want to play. Ogden Eagles and Lamplite Lounge both put on fun tournaments so try and make it out there. Both tournaments have sign ups around 7:00.
Fall leagues are coming up soon, start getting your teams together and practicing up.
