Hi there everyone,
We had a great time last night at Stockman's Bar, thanks to everyone who came down and joined us. I want to mention a thanks to Debbie Hill whom follows this blog and mentioned that she saw her name and received a free bag of tips from me. I will give out a free bag of tips again next Friday to each of you that mention this blog.
Wow, what a night for the dart tournament. Thanks to everyone, we ended up with 14 teams on a summer night! Congratulations to Steven Ziebach and Shelly Thompson(4th), Tom (Tex) Perry and Michelle Sill(3rd), Travis Hirabayashi and Tiffany Clupp(2nd)-I know, how did that happen we drew eachother again? :) thank Kim Fields for the teams. Also, for 1st Place, Zan Davis and Kim Fields had to fight back from the loser bracket and beat us two matches, to take the title. Great shooting! Speaking of which, Jane Flanders shot a 17 in cricket for one of her games which is fantastic! Finally, Thank you again Kim for drawing out the number 31 giving Tiffany and Travis the mystery out which was around $150.00 each.
Manager Mike Rumsey brought in pizzas and put up the additional money for the tournament. I wish to extend my gratitude for putting up with and letting me have our tournment there. Also, for all of you that are so supportive and participate in our events, you are the best and it would not even exist without all of you!
Next week on Friday, the tournament returns to Stockman's Bar. The mystery out starts out with $20 plus whoever gets in. (so around $40 or $50). Try and get there prior to 7:30p and signed in. Tell your friends and have them come out for a great time.
We are going to start getting sign ups for summer leagues so start getting the word out and thinking about lining up people to shoot with. It will be a fun league, 8 weeks and playing some of the different games available. We have the sign-up sheets at Stockman's Bar and need to get the league started by June 30th or July 1. Sign up for either Tuesday or Wednesday we can only take up to 8 teams for each night so get signed up early!
Well, that's all for now. "Rainy day Sunday tournaments" are always on if you all want to show up, I will keep in touch with all of you. Remember, don't drink and drive, always use a DD, tip your bartender well, and always play for the love of the game....
